Ah yes, the “free” internet marketing workshop.
I dunno about you, but ads for these workshops pop into my feed every day.
Out of 10, ONE might actually be legit.
The rest?
2-hours (or however long) of internet marketing workshop sales pitches in disguise.
With, of course, the BIG scarcity push at the end.
Look.
We know ‘lead generating’ seminars and workshops might be a good idea for our business.
Because we can demonstrate our expertise and how we can actually help people.
In fact, THAT’S the very REASON I do MY personal masterminds.
I'd be lying if I told you otherwise.
But I DON’T use my mastermind as a way to handcuff people for 10 hours and listen to me pitch my coaching or products.
If you’ve been to my mastermind, you know that’s a totally legit statement.
However, when you go to these other workshops, they have FAKE EXPERTS (who are actually just students themselves paid a commission for each person they sign up) leading them.
Furthermore, MOST of those students have ZERO to very little results from the actual internet marketing workshop/program they’re “endorsing.”
THAT totally p!sses me off.
I’ve seen it in the real estate world and it’s the same in the internet marketing workshop world too.
So BE CAREFUL who you’re learning from.
To explain why I'm so adamant about this today, I personally know people who were struggling a month ago, and are now, all of a sudden,
“raking in customers & money”
and want to teach me how to do the same thing!?!
Unless I’ve missed something in the 7 years I’ve been at this, growing a business from zero to millions in 4 weeks is kinda a red flag.
Don’t you agree?
So I’m callin’ them out.
As I tell everyone who opts into my list…
…assume EVERYONE (in this marketing space) is full of it.
Unless we prove otherwise.
YES – me included.
I HATE to say that, because I like to live my life positively. But I’ve seen expert “thieves” steal people’s cash in both the real estate and online marketing workshops.
Just because they’ve learned awesome scripts and manipulation techniques.
Keep your eyes open – like this guy said to me this morning:
That’s all “good” for me, but I still have a lot to prove to him (and you).
It's my job if I’m really, truthfully, gonna help you.
MAKE SURE whenever you’re learning from someone, they are actually DOING whatever it is you want to learn.
Speaking of “doing whatever it is you want to learn…”

BTW, I realize the irony of offering a product after I’ve just bashed the hell outta people doing the same thing at “FREE” internet marketing workshops. Difference is…I ACTUALLY make (part) of my living with my email marketing and sales. So if you want to learn how to do it right, without the hype or BS – click here to join the notification list.
