For The Entrepreneur
Joey Ragona
Freedom
The holy grail.
If you ask any entrepreneur, everything boils down to a better life.
Which is of course, all about freedom.
No doubt it’s true for you as well, or you wouldn’t be a part of this community.
Even though I’m pretty good at communicating, I don’t know how well I express my gratitude to you, for being a part of my community.
At the same time, I also don’t know how much you are rewarded and acknowledged for your efforts.
Years ago, I decided I wanted my “inner circle” to be a group of positive, hard working, dedicated people, who are just like me.
People who live by these three words:
Freedom. Resilience. Belief.
That last word, BELIEF, is the big one.
And you may not know this, but YOU believe.
A lot.
In fact, your belief is so strong that without it, you wouldn’t have the resilience to bounce back from the setbacks.
It's what separates you from the wannabes
Without exception, running a business goes hand in hand with having problems.
Your resilience and belief is what makes you a winner.
Think about that for a moment.
YOU are a rare breed. You have unique characteristics.
You’re an entrepreneur.
Because you see things as they really are.
You understand how many people depend on you.
And you take the action steps without letting too much time pass.
You take the necessary risks, while most of the world sits on the sidelines, waiting for guarantees and the “right time.”
It is you who CREATES opportunities, rather than hoping and constantly in search of instant, (non-existent) magical opportunities.
Furthermore, BECAUSE of the opportunities you create, you recognize how important you are to your family, your community, and to our world.
You PROVIDE value while the rest of the world CONSUMES
And in providing value for everyone, your employees, your customers and even the community, it earns you money.
You’ve taken the high road and understand that building a sustainable business is not by tricking everyone so you can make a quick buck.
In truth, this is where your resilience and belief comes in.
Because you know it takes a considerable amount of time.
My kudos.
You don’t back down. You don’t settle.
Therefore you don’t have the luxury of knowing you’re getting paid next week, next month, or next year.
If you go on the hunt for food and fail, your village goes hungry.
So with your chin held high, you endure the fear of walking into the unknown so you can ensure the safety and comfort of others.
Nobody said this was going to be easy.
Well - that’s not entirely true. There ARE people who will tell you it’s easy.
But they either don’t know what they’re talking about, or just want access to your money. (Remember the tricking people part?)
Even though there are shortcuts, methods and systems, to differentiate, it is you who constantly seeks to improve - on an emotional, personal, and business level.
Yet most people misunderstand you.
You are labeled.
Your friends and family scoff behind your back - and sometimes directly to your face.
They are quick to shout “I told you so” when you fail miserably at something new, as they sit in their commonness and mediocrity.
They’ll encourage you to “stay down” as “life” whales on you, blow after blow until it knocks you to the ground.
But you push back up from the canvas, face bloodied, turn your back to the cage, raise your fists once again and ask, “is that all you got motherfucker?”
So the Question Is...
That’s the only way you know how to react.
Napoleon Hill once said “accurate thinking” is the principle most often forgotten.
And that means you can’t make effective decisions if you are unwilling to see things as they really are.
While most people pretend problems aren’t there, you stare them down - you challenge the status quo.
You wouldn’t last ten minutes as a “regular person” and you wouldn’t want to.
Because you’re an entrepreneur. You believe. You have resilience.
And THAT is the true definition of freedom.
Don’t you agree?
I am honoured that you are here, and that I’m in your corner supporting and helping you do it all.
Because that's who you are. It's how you're wired.
That’s the only way you know how to react.
